Most servers today can easily identify if you are using a proxy and generally doesn’t allow users using proxy to enter, and most can just find out your real IP thus overcoming the proxy.
So what you do is go for a VPN service and thus cloak your original IP address with the IP of your VPN provider thus effectively hiding your own IP Address.
What is a VPN?
